Condrey spoke with GamesRadar about a handful of features planned for Call of Duty: WW2, including how the prestige feature will change. Al Bagra Fortress is a brand-new map introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It’s a Multiplayer map designed for 6v6 combat, meaning it’s played in the traditional Call of Duty style. That is, players that are eliminated then spawn in a “safe” place somewhere on the map, with a priority to be spawned near a teammate. As Call of Duty players are already intimately familiar, this spawning system can be problematic on maps that aren’t balanced well....

However, one map from Modern Warfare 2’s beta, called Valderas Museum, didn’t make it to the final release, as the game launched with 10 maps instead of 11. Fans were likely confused regarding its absence from the full version of Modern Warfare 2, as no official reason was given for its removal. Now, it looks like Activision is adding Valderas Museum back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in a future update....

Over on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sub-Reddit, art director Joel Emslie, under his ArtPeasant tag, responded to a fan who created a thread to discuss the need for additional custom character slots. In short, Emslie agreed with the sentiment and revealed that the studio has been actively looking into it and is planning to add more slots in the near future, possibly in one of the next upcoming updates....

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare April 28 update will be about 15GB on PS4 and Xbox One. At any rate, this problem was highlighted in a recent video on the Modern Warfare subreddit by user sp77ky. The clip shows sp77ky playing on the Piccadilly multiplayer map when a player using the Ghost skin appears out of nowhere. This gives the Ghost player an easy kill, as they’re able to shoot and kill sp77ky before they even have the chance to react. The last few weeks of summer are upon players, and to close out the break from cooler weather and school sessions, Activision is hosting special events in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. With the special updates and events come game modes that fans can play to change things up, and one of the game modes that players will be able to jump into tonight is the Ground War Reinforce mode....

Of all games in the franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has released during perhaps one of the more difficult times in gaming history for a game like itself. It is a huge franchise continuation that must hold its core appeal even as the playerbase grows more hostile towards conventions that Activision often puts in its games to squeeze more money from them. The game is certainly not helped by the glitches that it often gets, and especially not by ones as big as this....

The meta in Call of Duty: Warzone changes rapidly. Not long ago, players were relying heavily on a fully kitted Grau to maximize damage in the massive battle royal. However, Infinity Ward recently nerfed this gun and increased its recoil. While the change wasn’t huge, it has impacted some players causing them to look for a new gun with less recoil than the updated Grau. Dataminers digging through the Warzone Season 4 update files have found evidence that players will soon be able to get inside Stadium. These same datamines also revealed the cryo weapon effect for Modern Warfare and Warzone before it was properly added to the game as part of the Wendigo Operator bundle.
