Weapon balance in Call of Duty: Warzone has consistently been tweaked since the battle royale launched in March last year. Every season adds new weapons to Call of Duty: Warzone and the developers are always tweaking the balancing of guns to make sure that the meta is never stagnant. As seen in the tweet below, Activision and Sledgehammer Games announced Ving Rhames’ inclusion in Call of Duty: WW2’s Zombies alongside the countdown of there being just one more day left until the publisher and developer takes the stage at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 to formally unveil the game mode to the masses. The event will be the first sanctioned release of footage for WW2’s Zombies, for over the weekend, a gameplay trailer leaked and potentially outed the mode’s name as “Army of the Dead....

Along with revealing the Modern Warfare 2 release date, Activision confirmed some of the Operators that will be featured in the campaign. As the end of the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot suggested, the 2022 take on Modern Warfare 2 will feature the famous Task Force 141, led by Captain John Price. Joining Price, Ghost, and Soap in Modern Warfare 2’s Task Force 141 are Kyle “Gaz” Garrick and Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas....

Specifically, certain Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 weapons will seemingly be locked behind specific game modes and their respective challenges, if the M13B’s precedent is anything to go by. The only way for players to unlock this weapon is to jump into the game’s new DMZ mode, kill a particular hard-to-reach boss, and then extract with the weapon in hand. The catch, of course, is that there’s just one M13B per DMZ match unless other players bring the weapon in with them....

This leak comes from established Call of Duty: Modern Warfare dataminer Senescallo, and they indicate that Season One will begin on December 3 at 10am PST and end on January 28 at 10am PST. It is further stated that “tier boosts can be purchased in increments of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100,” and Senescallo suggets that there are actually 104 tiers to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One Battle Pass, with the first four being awarded immediately and exclusively to players that purchase the pass....

There are tons of different modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare giving players a variety of experiences to choose from. The most realistic of these modes is currently realism mode, but one fan thinks that the developers could make it even more real. The first killstreak revealed for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one that has been hinted at in the past. As many guessed from screenshots released by Infinity Ward at E3 2019, players will once again be able to don the Juggernaut suit as one of their killstreaks in the game. It should be noted that the Shipment map won’t just be for standard multiplayer. Fans of the 2v2 Gunfight mode (the original version of which is also coming on December 18), can look forward to playing on Shipment as well. The addition of Shipment to Gunfight may even convince some people who aren’t fans of the game mode to try it out, though there is some cause to be concerned....

This is not the only killstreak that players want changed, as the Bombing Run has caused problems for players as well. However, that streak is a bit different, as its main issue is the random flight path that causes its user to die just as much as enemies once the map is carpet bombed. When it comes to the Bombing Run, though, players can just remove the streak if they dislike the risk that comes attached....

A popular new trend in first-person shooters is the introduction of a seasonal format for content. Rather than releasing outside expansions or locking items behind loot boxes, developers release additions during chunks of time known as seasons. With the second season for these two Call of Duty games coming to an end, the teams are teasing what players can expect for the third round. While there are some exceptions, new Call of Duty: Warzone updates come on Tuesdays, so fans of the game can expect Quads to be back on Tuesday, June 23. Warzone players can expect Solos, Duos, and Trios to remain available in the game as well, along with some of the other standard modes. With any battle royale game, the map on which the game is played is just as much a character as the person or avatar the player selects before dropping in. A good map, like Verdansk, makes the game easily replayable, as evidenced by the millions of players happily dropping countless hours into Call of Duty: Warzone. While Verdansk has only seen minor changes since its introduction last year, fans are excited about the overhaul expected to arrive in a few weeks time....

Developer Raven Software shared the patch notes with fans last night, and alongside major additions like the Hunt for Adler event and 1980s Verdansk, there are several tweaks made to gameplay. To stick with the vibe provided by the new setting, ground loot drops will be entirely based around Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare guns limited to loadouts. This should allow for more balanced gameplay going forward, though it is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to big changes....

This is not the first time that this type of glitch has been seen in Call of Duty: Warzone, as gamers encountered a similar bug with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Sykov pistol before it was properly added to the game. Fully usable, gamers were able to experience the ins and outs of the handgun for a long period of time. Now, the same thing is happening with the AMP63, giving players the chance to see the new addition in action ahead of its official release....

The most effective and widespread cheats in Call of Duty: Warzone are wallhacks and aim bots. In the case of the former, players can see their opponents through walls, preparing for them and pre-firing right when they are about to turn the corner. Aimbots are even more frustrating, as they allow a player to aim perfectly, snapping right to their targets with perfect accuracy. With the recent silent aim hacks, cheaters do not even need to aim down their sights, as they can obliterate anyone while hipfiring....

According to Call of Duty dataminers, Call of Duty: Warzone’s FAL is getting a full auto attachment at some point in a future update. This was pointed out by Twitter account ModernWarzone, who was posting about the best weapons to use in the Warzone battle royale. ModernWarzone’s tweet included what looks to be an in-progress image of the FAL Full-Auto Conversion attachment that will presumably be added to the game....

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded patch is the reason why this clip is possible. Its focus on 1980s action has brought new points of interest, weapons, and two new operators movie fans should be very familiar with: John Rambo and John McClane. The points of interest replicate locations in movies and allow players the chance to recreate iconic moments such as this one. The scene being recreated is a moment in which Rambo returns to headquarters and vents his frustrations with the CIA through a shooting spree....

The Call of Duty franchise has been one of the most commercially successful of the last decade and while it is not surprising that the games have a large fan base, how well they are received can vary. Warzone appears to be keeping players happy with its frequent updates, yet updates do not cover all elements of the game and a player took advantage of a loadout drop trick although the move appears to be an accident....

Today, Activision released a new cinematic trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone’s sixth season, and while the trailer is largely lore-based it does offer up a new addition to Warzone once the season launches. The trailer involves Farah and Nikolai from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign uncovering information about Zakhaev’s underground network, which happens to be a subway system under the Warzone map.
