While not officially announced by Activision, three editions for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have leaked online thanks to files found in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Like was the case with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard, fans will be able to buy a standard edition of the game or a cross-gen bundle. There will also be a Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as well, with its contents leaked online as well....

In Modern Warfare, a killstreak is earned by achieving a certain number of kills on a single life. The Chopper Gunner killstreak allows players to control an assault chopper that has a turret and air-to-land missiles. According to reports from some Modern Warfare players, if a Chopper Gunner is called in near the E flag, the helicopter will run into invisible collision and be unable to enter the map. So rather than fly around wreaking havoc, the chopper will hover outside of the map for a while, often ineffectually far from enemy targets, and then fly away....

The Tiger King documentary follows Joe Exotic and his big cat enclosure revealing the dangers of keeping cats as well as the erratic behavior of Joe. With these elements in play, the show became one of Netflix’s biggest documentaries and online communities have mimicked the scenes from the show countless times. Many fans of the documentary will now be keen to replicate the appearance of the Tiger King in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare....

Beginning Tuesday, December 10 and until Wednesday, December 18, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature Gunfight OSP and Infected. For the uninitiated, Gunfight OSP is a variant of the popular 2v2 Gunfight mode where players don’t spawn with predetermined weapons. Instead Gunfight OSP players have to loot their weapons and equipment from the map, which adds an extra layer of strategy to the game mode. Over the last few months, both Vanguard and Warzone have slowly but surely become much better experiences, with a constant stream of updates being implemented that have fixed a slew of issues. Now that the games have been fixed up, at least for the most part, Sledgehammer Games can start adding some substantial content with Season 3. Undoubtedly the most controversial aspect of Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies is the format of the mode, as Treyarch chose to do away with the round-based formula that brought the studio a decade of success. Despite efforts to appease round-based fans with an objective type that added some limited Survival gameplay, many had no interest in seeing more objective-oriented maps. Clearly, Treyarch has listened, as it is completely shifting its plans for Call of Duty: Vanguard by switching over to round-based maps....

However, one of the bigger additions to the game with this update is the overhaul to Rebirth Island. Known as Rebirth Reinforced, Raven has gone through and made various changes to the map such as overhauling the less popular point of interests like Shore and Security Station. Now called Docks and Stronghold respectively, both of these zones have been given new buildings and features to make them more appealing. While the many changes have been appreciated by players, it seems not everything has gone off without a hitch, as a new bug is causing a bit of chaos for those dropping in....

Call of Duty: Warzone’s settings have previously only allowed for two options when it comes to tactical sprinting. The first is the default choice, which saw players pressing the sprint button once to for a regular sprint and a second time to lift their gun and run a bit faster. The other option was auto tactical sprint, which saw players instantly going into the fastest run possible when moving. However, new options have been added, letting gamers have more control over their Operator’s movement....

Thanks to Apex Legends introducing the ability to revive fallen teammates, more and more battle royale games in the past year have added their own take on the concept, Warzone included. There are, in fact, multiple ways for players to revive teammates and themselves in Call of Duty: Warzone, but of these, it’s the Gulag that offers the most interesting spin on it. Multiple threads on the main Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit have called attention to the continued problems with the battle royale’s Buy Stations. One example posted on Friday shows just how frustrated players have gotten. The post reads “FIX THE ** BUY STATION GLITCH,” and goes on to explain that they’ll be having a good game only for a Buy Station to kick them out of the match. Worse, they say they’ll freeze early in a match, or freeze trying to buy a teammate back and die to the bubble while unable to do anything....

As pointed out by CharlieIntel, in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 roadmap, fans can see a listing for a “classified Warzone experience.” There’s not much else to go on except for what appears to be an image of a map with Russian text on it that makes reference to something called “Rebirth Island.” CharlieIntel believes that this is a reference to Alcatraz, the famous prison island that has been featured in multiple Call of Duty games in the past....

Reddit user young_k0be shared his “clutch” play online, and given the start of the clip, it certainly looks as if the player is going to lose. Stuck at the top of the cliffs on Verdansk 84’s Summit, the player is barely inside the storm. Their opponent is below, sitting comfortably inside the circle. As such, they have a clear advantage, able to look straight up at the trapped young_k0be. While the player could try to fire down at their opponent, their weapon puts them at a major disadvantage....

Activision has done everything in its power to reduce cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone, although, sadly, these efforts seem to have been in vain. The game is still experiencing a cheating problem despite Activision implementing its Ricochet anti-cheat system. Players have recently found an issue with an unannounced feature of the system that can seemingly detect if a player is unnaturally accurate and then adjust the damage that player deals regardless of the weapon they make use of....

Some Call of Duty: Warzone players are reporting an issue with the Ghost perk since downloading the big Season 3 update. Even with both the Ghost perk and Cold Blooded both equipped, Call of Duty: Warzone players are claiming that they are showing up on heartbeat sensors, giving their locations away to enemies that wouldn’t otherwise be able to locate them. However, this Ghost perk bug in Call of Duty: Warzone appears to be rather inconsistent, as it’s not impacting players every match....

The AS VAL joined the SP-R208 sniper rifle as the free weapons in the Season 6 battle pass. While fans were excited to see the gun make its debut in the Call of Duty series, a major bug has been discovered that makes the AS VAL’s SPP rounds especially deadly. Well-known CoD YouTuber TheXclusiveAce put together a video on the projectiles, and it quickly becomes apparent that the rounds are not functioning as intended....

Despite the versatility, queuing in as a solo player can be a difficult decision. Players must determine if they want to be alone or rely on other players for their match completion. Their teammate could be new, impatient, or rude....

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Stim glitch has appeared appeared six times in the past, and while Raven has removed the bug several times, it always manages to make a return. With past removals being temporary, it remains to be seen if this “new fix” will actually succeed at keeping the glitch out of the game. With Raven sharing with players that “the issue stemmed from players getting stuck in throwback state after throwing back a live grenade,” hopefully knowing the source of the problem has led to a permanent removal....

Matches on Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island map are significantly shorter than those that take place in Verdansk. Not only is the map much smaller, making gunfights more frequent, but the player count is extremely low. Specifically, it is set to a maximum of 40 players, which is less than a third of the 150 players that Verdansk supports. As such, it is much easier to pursue quick wins....

After the game’s launch, fans were reporting empty areas where no other players had spawned, something that defeats the point of Call of Duty: WW2’s new social space. Thankfully, these issues seem to now have finally been resolved, as players on Twitter begin to upload pictures of their newly-populated Headquarters. Now that Headquarters are finally working as intended once more, all Call of Duty: WW2 players will be able to complete in-game tasks such as commending other players, or watching loot box openings, features that were pretty difficult when running around the social space alone....

The Zombies mode in Call of Duty: WW2 is a tad different this time around, as developer Sledgehammer has altered the mode to give it a bit more oomph. There is a more in-depth class system and abilities, and there are several objectives to complete. As the mode is more about killing zombies than anything else, players can feel free to ignore the objectives altogether. However, if they’re keen on having more of a purpose, they can pull up a list of objectives by pressing the touchpad....
