The aerial vehicle was re-added to the game after its newest in-game hotfix went live earlier today, which also saw the release of a new Stimulus Solos game mode. From there, players could be perched on the vehicle, fly anywhere in the map they wanted and shoot someone, netting what essentially amounts to a free kill in the process....

With Warzone persisting, even though Modern Warfare’s lifespan will end once the 2020 release is out, it’s very possible that Warzone will evolve with the next Call of Duty release. Warzone could take many forms, either as a full on overhaul like Fortnite’s Chapter 2, or as an additional Black Ops mode with a new separate map and loot set. It’d be an understandably difficult undertaking, but there’s a couple options for how a Cold War-themed Warzone could release for 2020’s annual release....

In a post earnings call with investors, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg confirmed that Call of Duty: WW2 has seen an overwhelmingly positive response from both fans and critics after playing the E3 2017 build. Both the reveal trailer and Nazi Zombies trailers have gone on to become the most liked videos in franchise history as well. The company believes it has the right game at the right time, returning to a boots on the ground style with authentic military content and context....

Kurosaki was asked by multiple Call of Duty fans on Twitter if the violence in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was being toned down, as there had been some reports by “leakers” that the game was going to be hit with an Adults Only rating because of its content. Kurosaki denied these claims, confirming that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare doesn’t have to change its content to get its M for Mature rating that the ESRB will likely assign to it....

A job listing on the recruiting website SelectMinds shows that Infinity Ward is hiring a temporary narrative scripter to work on a “new, exciting, unannounced” game that is in development for “multiple next gen platforms.” The listing doesn’t clarify if this game is a new Call of Duty or not, but since Infinity Ward has developed nothing but Call of Duty games since its inception, it’s a safe bet....

This means that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players on PC and Xbox One will be blocked out of playing an entire game mode until around the time that next year’s Call of Duty comes out. As expected, this has caused quite the controversy, with many on Twitter, Reddit, and elsewhere - even PS4 owners - criticizing the decision. Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, has taken the time to respond to some of the people upset about the decision on Twitter....

Reddit user Average-Genius uploaded a video of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare finishing move glitch in action. In the clip, we can see Average-Genius get the jump on an enemy player and try to perform a finishing move. The finishing move animation starts happening, but then it stops for seemingly no reason. This gives Average-Genius’ opponent enough time to gun him down, which would understandably be quite frustrating....

Warzone players recently discovered an invincibility glitch, and it seems like Modern Warfare players have done the same within Reinfected. If players get the Quarst River Quarry map from the pool of Reinfected locations, they can easily glitch their way to easy nukes and can ruin the experience entirely for infected players. The glitch is extremely easy to get into, making it even more damaging to the Reinfected experience....

Season 4 brought a bunch of new content into Warzone, including the Vector and Galil. Still, fans like to know what is headed in the future expansions. Two files were noticed, the M200 & M200_c, and fans are expecting them to go live in Season 5’s release. During the most recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, Activision revealed the first major Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign trailer. At the very end of that trailer, it announced that the upcoming Spec Ops mode would have a Survival variant (essentially the Call of Duty version of Horde Mode), but that it would be exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners for an entire year. Since it was tacked on at the end of the campaign trailer, the announcement didn’t generate much attention at first, but then word of the exclusivity deal started to spread, sparking outrage and disappointment online....

Reddit user GloriousRock has posted a video showing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare player cheating on Shipment by glitching out of bounds. It’s unclear exactly how the exploit is done at the time of this writing, but it allows players to glitch beyond the fence that surrounds the map. They are still able to shoot into the map and kill people, but they are essentially invincible during this time....

After the largely excellent release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, the last two entries haven’t received quite the same degree of success. Criticisms of the lack of content plagued Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer experience, and tangentially the integration of Black Ops Cold War’s weapons into Warzone caused controversy as well. Vanguard sought to remedy this with a greater collection of maps and more subtle changes to the multiplayer foundation, but otherwise didn’t make any fundamental changes with its WW2 setting beyond Modern Warfare’s gameplay foundation....

Even through a true solos mode is currently unavailable in Call of Duty: Warzone, players can still technically choose to play alone without a squad. To do this, simply go to the bottom of the Warzone menu, where the Squad Fill option can be found. Switch it from “Fill” to “Don’t Fill,” and this will place Warzone players into a match by themselves. However, there is a huge downside to this that doesn’t make it ideal at all....

Whereas some games use fire or storms for their circles, Call of Duty: Warzone uses a green, poisonous gas. Like in other battle royale games, players want to travel across the Warzone map to avoid getting stuck in the gas wherever possible, as it deals considerable damage at a fast rate. However, there is one way that players can protect themselves from the poison gas in case they ever have to run through it....

Fortunately, there have been some incredibly interesting leaks about Call of Duty: Warzone 2. The game will supposedly feature a map resembling Blackout, which could be comprised of iconic locations from the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Armor will supposedly resemble the Blackout system as well, with an interrogation feature also being suggested through leaks. Pro Perks have been rumored as well, and with this information mentioned by Tom Henderson, fans have reason to believe it may be true....

It’s normal for video games to shed players over time, but while it’s not as big of a deal for single-player games or more traditional multiplayer games, it’s a huge problem for live service games. Live service games are designed to keep players engaged for the long-term, and this requires developers to regularly invest resources into producing fresh content for the games. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is a live service, and despite new content coming out for the game on a consistent basis, it is still losing the interest of some players....

When a game as big as Warzone is updated as frequently as Warzone is, bugs are inevitable, and that’s been especially true in Season 5. The last couple of weeks have seen players reporting a wide variety of glitches, such as textures turning into large masses of chaotic spikes, players being able to attack others from underneath the map, weapon attachments that are wildly unbalanced, and a range of other glitches that break Warzone in different ways....

Call of Duty: Warzone’s new cargo tanker point of interest is called Vodianoy, and players can see it approaching the shore via the Season 2 trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Boasting “unknown cargo” and described as “a dark wave” that is approaching the fictional Russian country, it will be interesting to see what the boat holds within. While it is unclear if players will be able to explore the boat’s interior before it reaches land, fans do have an idea of where it may be landing....

While a recent Call of Duty: Warzone patch removed numerous bugs, such as players freezing when opening loadout drops, a new game-breaking issue has been discovered in the free-to-play Call of Duty title. Allowing players to respawn indefinitely, the glitch guarantees that the respawning player eventually wins. With the storm eventually overpowering the mode’s actual winners and killing them via map damage, this issue will be a real problem for fans if it is not fixed soon....

Wallhacks are a common problem among the Call of Duty: Warzone community. Usually, these hacks are caused by outside software, which makes enemies appear through walls despite being hidden. While there are fan solutions for this problem, a new bug has escalated the concept by making walls disappear entirely.
