The Call of Duty community has a reputation of being a little abrasive, to say the least. One of the biggest complaints of some members of the community is the idea of a player being a “try-hard.” Claiming that someone is a try-hard means that the person is using the best available guns in the game, playing to win, and taking the match seriously. There is also often a lacking of self-awareness with these claims, as the person who is upset with the “try-hard” is often using the same overpowered weapons (in say Call of Duty) and taking the match just as seriously....

FMJ is a weapon perk that increases bullet penetration and damage against enemy killstreaks.
