The bug changes the position of the hand when holding a gun on specific weapons. Basic firearm training teaches soldiers to hold a rifle with two hands, which often provides additiona stability and improves the overall accuracy of the soldier. First-person shooting is commonplace in the gaming industry but the reboot of Modern Warfare has largely managed to build on existing mechanics of the series while adding new game modes. With that said, many of the additions to the game may be a first for the franchise, but they certainly aren’t anything new to games as a whole. The small size of Shoot House also lends itself well to these kinds of ridiculous kills, though we will be surprised if any future ones top the sheer luck that went into this one....
As more and more posts appear on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subReddit, Infinity Ward’s Senior Communications Manager has issued a response to the fans. Ashton Williams confirmed that at least some members of the development team are in the studio trying to figure this issue out. To potentially assist in the discovery process, the team is also asking for more data from players who are running into this bug....
