When Call of Duty: Warzone 2 launches, it will do so with the brand-new Al Mazrah map, new gameplay features, vehicles, and more. Official details on how big the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 file size will be across various platforms are not available at the time of this writing, but leaked data suggests it’s going to be massive....

Players discovered a new Call of Duty: Warzone bug when players wearing a ghillie suit skin started turning invisible in front of each other. The skin is bugged and will make players partly invisible to enemy players the further away they are from each other. Unless seen by scopes or players aiming down sights, players wearing the ghillie suit will be invisible except for the head and weapon they’re carrying....

Call of Duty: Warzone’s controversial loadout change sees players being forced to wait to purchase a loadout drop. Specifically, one cannot be bought until the first free drop has landed in Caldera, meaning that players must wait around five minutes to get access to their loadouts. While this does not impact players of average skill level, as they likely cannot get enough money for a loadout in the first five minutes of a match, those who play Call of Duty: Warzone competitively are frustrated by the change....

Through their testing at Dam and Prison, DefendTheHouse discovered that sniper shots can travel a considerable distance on the Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale map and still be effective. Through hours of testing a variety of different snipers in Call of Duty: Warzone, DefendTheHouse came to the conclusion that the maximum range for any of the snipers in the game is about 2,400 meters. This is a considerable distance to say the least, and means some absolutely ridiculous long-distance sniper shots are technically possible in the game, though very unlikely to happen....

While no one is sure exactly why there is an increase in hackers, some fans believe that previously shut down websites may be back in business despite Activision’s efforts. Taking to Instagram, Beck showed off some unused art that he made for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, created early in the game’s production. Beck’s vision for the Modern Warfare Zombies mode would have featured quadruped robots leading zombies around with leashes. The art also includes a Russian soldier, who is utilizing these robots and their zombie prisoners in some way. How exactly this would have translated to actual gameplay is unclear, as the Modern Warfare Zombies mode evidently didn’t make it beyond the concept art phase....

That being said, executions don’t come without a risk of their own. Players are immobile for the duration of an execution, making longer animations a higher risk endeavor. If a Modern Warfare player’s execution animation is interrupted, be it that the executioner is shot or the victim is shot, then the animation immediately ends. In most cases, this is an annoying distraction, but this victim got a lucky result by interrupting their own slaughter....
