There are several types of watches in Call of Duty: Warzone. Some of them tell time, others show level progression, and there is even one that acts as a small pet. Each watch provides a different small benefit to the user and is a fun way to customize the operator further.

It was when some of the watches developed a strange Call of Duty: Warzone bug that players started becoming concerned. Reddit user Khurlauss posted a clip on the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit that shows how two different watch types, “Strange Magic” and “Time of the Season,” can be seen through the walls. These two watches have a small light that is visible from across the map, basically giving away their wearer’s position.
Both of these watches were introduced during Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 and they feature a unique holographic appearance. The stylish watches are a fan-favorite among the Warzone and Modern Warfare communities but until this glitch is fixed they make players a clear target.
This is no doubt an unexpected bug for the developers to have to deal with, but it still has game-changing effects. From Call of Duty: Warzone Gulag battles to simple confrontations, knowing where the enemy is through a wall gives a clear advantage to other players.
As of now, the problem is not part of the Call of Duty: Warzone Developer Trello board, but it is likely that they will notice the problem quickly. Hopefully, the bug will be fixed prior to Call of Duty: Warzone’s integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in December.
Until the bug is fixed players are advised to wear a different Call of Duty: Warzone watch. The minimap, compass, and other useful tools could be vital in a Warzone situation as an alternative to the holographic timepiece that players have become accustomed too.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, Ps5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
