This Call of Duty: Warzone drone trick has been done in other games with drones, but considering the sheer number of people playing Warzone, it’s safe to say that many of them are likely unaware of it. Basically, players can toss C4 on a drone and then fly that drone to enemy players. They can then blow up the C4 and get some easy kills on players who are far away. It’s possible that this will be patched out in a future update, but its use doesn’t seem super widespread at the time of this writing.

This is just one way that Call of Duty: Warzone players have been getting creative when it comes to getting kills in the popular battle royale. Another trick players have been using is spray-painting their enemies in the Gulag. For the uninitiated, the Gulag is the place Warzone players go to when they die, giving them the opportunity to win a 1v1 match and respawn. Gulag players can interact with their opponents before the match starts, and some players have taken to spray-painting their opponents to make them stand out more and therefore giving them an easier win.

It’s always possible Infinity Ward will patch out these tricks, especially if they become more widely adopted by the community and if players feel they’re cheap. For now, though, players can utilize these Warzone tricks to give them an upper-hand, and it’s safe to say many opponents won’t see things like this coming.

As Warzone adds more weapons and other features, it will be interesting to see what other clever ways the community thinks up to get victories in the battle royale.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
