The tip comes from Call of Duty: Warzone player GreekFire04, who tested a way to save teammates on rooftops without having them instantly be sent to the Gulag after hitting the ground. Winning Gulag matches can prove to be difficult sometimes, but with this trick, players will have a better success rate in reviving teammates in their Warzone matches, avoiding the Gulag entirely.

GreekFire04 provides a clip of what to do when a teammate is downed on top of a rooftop with no way of safely getting down. In the clip, the player has the idea of wanting to catch their downed teammate before they hit the ground to see if they will survive. With some reluctance and uncertainty, the downed player finally inches closer to the edge to prepare to drop down to their teammate.

With some good positioning on both ends, the downed player finally drops down towards their teammate and hopes for the best. With the proper placement of their teammate, the downed player is lucky, as the plan worked successfully. The downed player landed right on top of their teammate and is able to be revived before hitting the ground.

With shock and funny freakout reactions on both ends, the crazy idea worked and is now a great method in reviving teammates who are downed on top of higher areas. With a bit of proper timing, players can save themselves from the hassle of winning 1v1 matches in the Gulag or wasting a self-revival kit.

Although this method is extremely useful for reviving teammates, the popularity of this method will have enemies second-guessing if they should either let downed players struggle away or just perform an execution to get them out the way. If players are lucky enough to survive from being put in the dying state from an enemy player, this strategy is the best way to ensure player safety from having to fall off of a rooftop.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
