HusKerrs is accompanied by the likes of timthetatman and NICKMERCS, with the latter recently asking for both the FFAR and AUG to be nerfed in his videos. Celebrities like comedian Trevor Noah and NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have also spoken out against the AUG in recent weeks, begging Activision and Raven Software to nerf the weapon. Like NICKMERCS and the two other famous gamers, HusKerrs points out the biggest issue with the balancing of the weapons.

Tweeting out that the meta needs to be removed from the game “ASAP,” HusKerrs highlights the low TTK in Call of Duty: Warzone as being the biggest issue with the current build of the game. Otherwise known as time-to-kill, this has been a common complaint from the community in recent weeks. Since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s weapons were added to the game, players believe that they are dying far too quickly inside the battle royale game — regardless of whether they have armor equipped.
It is worth noting that HusKerrs does not agree with recent claims that this meta is as bad as the pre-nerf DMR 14. Considering how that gun was completely game breaking at its peak, and how it took months to fall from grace, this is understandable. Still, it would be nice to see the AUG and FFAR nerfed sooner rather than later, as past Call of Duty: Warzone metas overstaying their welcome has unfortunately been a common occurrence. Like many, HusKerrs is demanding “variety,” with no weapon clearly being the best and required for success.
The one good thing about these broken weapons is that their eventual nerfs will lead to the variety that HusKerrs is asking for. As shown with the meta after the DMR nerf, once overpowered guns leave the game, several weeks follow where nearly every gun is viable. While players do eventually discover a new overpowered weapon to fill the top spot, there is always a good window of time where players can use whichever guns they want to. As such, this process of finding the new best gun is often the most enjoyable time in the game for fans.
Still, with players currently at a big disadvantage whenever they are not using an AUG loadout or FFAR class, players will likely need to join in on the meta for the time being. Hopefully, all these huge calls for change will ensure that a balance pass arrives sooner rather than later.
