As their names imply, Duos and Quads will allow players to enter Warzone as teams of two and four, where they’ll then play out the regular objective of looting and killing until standing as the last remaining team.

In the meantime, players can entertain themselves with the other upcoming game modes, which include Realism Battle Royale, and Hardcore Battle Royal. Those familiar with Call of Duty games will understand what Hardcore and Realism mean, but for those who’ve played nothing outside of Warzone: Realism strips players of their HUD and makes every headshot a one-shot kill. Hardcore not only takes away a player’s HUD but also increases weapon damage across the board, and enables and penalizes friendly fire.

The next mode, Battle Royale One Shot, works similarly to Realism in that players will be able to kill each with one shot to the head. However, they won’t be able to receive any loadout drops throughout the Warzone match, so they’ll need to make every shot fired count. Players can still loot both enemies and the battlefield, however.

In a similar vein, the new mode Battle Royal Shotty Snipers will also prevent players from grabbing loadout drops. As for its unique twist, it will only allow players to use shotguns and snipers. Finally, the last mode, Battle Royale High Action, will play out like a regular game, with the exception that the gas will close in much faster than usual.

Players should note that whether or not any of these modes will allow duo and quad queues remain a mystery. Though, they more than likely won’t, seeing as how Duos and Quads look like they act as their own separate thing with their own set of matchmaking pools. There’s also currently no information on when these modes will release to the public. Dataminers may have uncovered them, but Infinity Ward could still be tweaking and testing each one.
