Though many Call of Duty: Warzone players may have found this frustrating as their teammates just spent money to revive them, Leecop1000 and his friends found the whole situation hilarious. To make matters even better, they caught the whole thing on camera, and the event can be watched below.

As a warning, the video clip does feature inappropriate language, so those that are sensitive to that sort of thing should steer clear or mute the video. That said, Leecop1000’s reaction to the situation is part of what makes the clip and the glitch so funny.
After landing, Leecop1000 was propelled at incredible speeds back into the sky. The fall didn’t kill him, but as he continued flying upwards, showing no signs of slowing down, it became clear he had glitched out of the map. After a while of this, he eventually dies inexplicably. At the moment it is unclear what actually caused the glitch, and no other users have reported the same thing happening to them. It could be that this was a freakish one time occurrence, but there must have been some set of conditions which triggered the bizarre bug.
Ironically, as the rest of Leecop1000’s team continues playing the game, one of his teammates trades out their weapon for another, and the LMG left behind is called “The Glitch.” Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has its fair share of glitches, connectivity issues, and other problems, and a lot of them can be pretty infuriating. No one likes dying instantly when using a heartbeat sensor or lagging out, but at least glitches like this provide some comedic value. It is somewhat reminiscent of the way Giants in Skyrim would propel the player upwards after killing them with a downward swing of their giant clubs.
Regardless, it is good to see that Leecop1000 and his team didn’t take this too seriously and get upset. It is unlikely this will affect many other players, but if the glitch does become a recurring problem then Infinity Ward will definitely need to fix it fast. Until then, take extra caution with the landings.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
