Since the company first launched both Modern Warfare and Warzone, Infinity Ward has done quite a good job of addressing and fixing any issues and bugs found within both of their games. The developer communicates with its player base regularly about what its fixing and when the bugs themselves will get fixed.

While most of the bugs associated with Warzone currently appear to be on cosmetic side of things and not considered “game-breaking,” there are still some issues that will need to be fixed, some of which that affect actual gameplay. One of these bugs actually causes the game to freeze, so hopefully this will be one of the bugs getting fixed soon. Another gameplay affecting bug that involves bullet collision issues should also hopefully get addressed.
Some of the bugs that are confirmed to be fixed include a bug causing the Precision Airstrike killstreak to not usable even if the player earned one, a bug causing the screen to tear to on newer maps, a visual problem associated with the eyes on Price’s character model, a collision bug on the map Promenade, a hitbox bug while playing a Headshots Only custom game, exploits on the map Piccadilly, a bug stopping players from customizing the default scope on the Rytec AMR, the RPK barrel appearing broken on certain weapons, a bug causing Officer Challenges to appear under the label Elder Challenges, and more.
Infinity Ward has confirmed that these bugs associated with Warzone have been fixed internally and will be hitting all platforms in a future update. The only question now is when this update may drop. There have been recent leaks that seem to state that Season 5 will be releasing as soon as August 5, just one week from now. It still remains to be seen whether this is when these bug fixes will go live.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale title that launched earlier this year, in March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It has since gone on to be one of the most popular games of the year, and widely considered one of the best battle royale games currently available.
Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
