With each golden egg containing a special blueprint, now is the perfect time to drop into Call of Duty: Warzone. Considering that the Verdansk nuke event is on the way and several blueprint-related easter eggs have already been disabled by Raven Software, this special event could serve as the last chance that players have to unlock some of the most unique gun variants. For those interested, the following blueprints are all available from Easter baskets.

The Special Easter Egg Blueprints

Bay of Pigs (SKS) Enigma (CR-56 AMAX) Firebrand (Bruen MK9) Fluid Dynamics (Kar98k) Karbonite (EBR-14) Mud Drauber (MP7) Red Room (Milano 821)

A few items from this lineup should immediately stand out to longtime Call of Duty: Warzone fans. First, there is the Red Room blueprint. A special variant of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Milano 821 SMG, this item could be of great use to players due to the recent buff it has received. Previously, the only way to acquire the Red Room blueprint was to finish the Rebirth Island easter egg. A complicated objective that relies heavily on luck due to the RNG of the briefcase step, players now have a much safer way to obtain the item.

Another highlight of the lineup is the Bay of Pigs SKS blueprint. Previously, this gun design was an exclusive reward from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s reveal event. Awarded to Call of Duty: Warzone players that saw the Know Your History objectives through and met with Frank Woods, it seemed unlikely that the blueprint would ever appear again. Surprisingly, it has made a comeback, with the gun now accompanied by other neat blueprints like the Enigma CR-56 AMAX and Karbonite EBR-14.

How To Get The Easter Egg Blueprints

Obtaining the easter egg blueprints is simple enough, as players will be able to track down easter baskets in their matches. Found in the spots where crates are usually seen, players will be able to hear the baskets easily due to their unique sound effect. After opening the crates, players will find a golden egg on the floor. Looking at the egg will tell players which blueprint they can get, ranging from the Firebrand Bruen MK9 to the Mud Drauber MP7.

After looting an easter egg basket and picking up the egg, players will have an objective similar to the one seen with Contraband contracts. They will then need to go to one of the extraction zones seen in Plunder, holding out in the area until the helicopter arrives. Once it does, the golden egg can be deposited, instantly unlocking one of the special easter egg blueprints. Call of Duty: Warzone players will also get some money for their squads if the egg contract is completed, ensuring that the quest is beneficial for more reasons than just the special gun unlock.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
