This Call of Duty: Vanguard exploit involves players loading into a game of Zombies for about 2 minutes before exiting the game and repeating until they are satisfied with the amount of XP they have received. This is due to the fact that zombies in the starting spawn and a player’s first Transmit Portal offer more XP than other zombies.

This can be a useful trick for those wanting to level up quickly as the exploit entails a player loading into a solo Zombies game, killing all of the zombies in the spawn, entering a Transmit portal, killing all 21 zombies, and then leaving the game. Doing this can earn players 2000 XP in only 2-3 minutes of playtime, and will allow players to level up weapons like the Type 11 LMG quickly.
Call of Duty: Vanguard players have also found other more sinister exploits to abuse in the game as well. Players have found hiding spots in 2 different multiplayer maps that effectively render a player character invisible when using them. This can cause a lot of frustration for other players especially when they are used in modes like search and destroy where players are afforded only a single life.
Besides these exploits, another hot topic for Call of Duty: Vanguard players are overpowered killstreaks. Gamers have specifically been concerned with how overpowered the dogs are when the guard dog killstreak is activated. This is because the dogs can traverse roofs and ladders and can take up to five headshots to kill with certain weapons. This can be exceptionally frustrating to players on the receiving end of this killstreak as it becomes quite difficult to evade the unrelenting hounds.
Many of these issues will need to be tweaked in order to make the game an overall more enjoyable experience. Another change players would like to see in order to make Call of Duty: Vanguard a more enjoyable experience is the reintroduction of map voting. Many users are calling for the feature to make a comeback as they consider it to be a rather glaring omission. Players have cited that they much prefer being able to choose which map they would like to play on next instead of having one randomly chosen for them.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
