It seems Captain Price is showing up in some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare player’s lobbies despite the fact that Season 4 has yet to start. Evidence of this was posted to Reddit by user buffalowings21940, who shared an image of Price walking in the Modern Warfare pre-game lobby. While this is likely just a glitch, it could also be a sign that Modern Warfare Season 4 will start sooner rather than later.

Dataminers have found evidence that the Modern Warfare Season 4 start date is supposed to be today, June 10, but Activision hasn’t made any official announcements at the time of this writing. It’s still possible that Modern Warfare Season 4 will start today with no prior announcements, but that remains to be seen. Regardless of when Modern Warfare Season 4 starts, though, fans can expect to unlock Captian Price right away.
Assuming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 sticks to the pattern established with previous seasons in the game, it’s likely that Captain Price will be available immediately to anyone that purchases the Season 4 Battle Pass. There will likely be some other characters released throughout Season 4 as well that will require separate purchases, though their identities have yet to be revealed.
Modern Warfare Season 4’s Battle Pass is also likely to include some new weapons that players will be able to add to their arsenal. Again, nothing official has been announced by Activision or Infinity Ward just yet, but there are some leaks and rumors that could give fans an idea of what to expect from new weapons. If the leaks are accurate, then Modern Warfare Season 4 will be adding both the Galil and the Vector SMG, though they may be coming under different names.
Whether or not any of these Modern Warfare Season 4 leaks are true is up for debate, but hopefully Activision offers some clarification soon.
