After downloading the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 Reloaded update, fans may notice that the promised return of Gunfight Tournaments is nowhere to be found. Gunfight Tournaments was one of the returning modes said to be coming with the mid-season update, and while it’s mentioned in the patch notes, it doesn’t appear to actually be in the game. Infinity Ward has so far given no reason as to why this is, but perhaps more information will come later in the week.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Warzone is missing a promised mode as well. Fans were expecting the Juggernaut Royale mode to finally make its debut in the game with the mid-season update, but there’s no mention of it in the patch notes and it’s currently not available in the game. Again, no reason for its absence has been given, but this wouldn’t be the first time that game modes weren’t released in Modern Warfare when expected.

While these modes are missing from the latest update, Call of Duty fans can expect them to make their debut sooner rather than later. There is still about a month left of Modern Warfare Season 4, and it’s quite likely that the modes will debut before Season 4 ends. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see one of the modes added as early as next week, since Infinity Ward releases new Call of Duty updates on a weekly basis.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other new modes for Call of Duty fans to try out. The standard Modern Warfare multiplayer component has added the new Team Defender mode for fans to try, and there is currently a Warzone 200 player battle royale mode as well. The latter will only be available for a limited time, though, so anyone interested should be sure to play Call of Duty: Warzone this week.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
