A recent trailer teasing a new multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was posted on Twitter to the official Call of Duty Twitter page. It gives a brief glimpse of the added Tactical Infiltration, which is how matches are initiated in the game by having players exit a helicopter when close to the ground and accomplish any given mission from there.

As can be seen in the video below, a helicopter transports some soldiers to a map with a military structure of some kind and brings them to land on the ground. The soldier whose perspective viewers see through brings up his gun and a watch can be seen on the soldier’s wrist, which displays an actual time, corresponding to the clock on the player’s PC or console.

Players were initially concerned both that the time displayed may have been the time in-game and that Infinity Ward may be focused on smaller and inconsequential details to the overall experience. However, it was confirmed by the Art Director at Infinity Ward on Reddit that it wasn’t time-consuming to add it to the game.

Overall, it seems that the developers at Infinity Ward are truly dedicated to delivering fans an immersive experience. Between Modern Warfare missions continuing even after the death of civilians and a number of other factors, Infinity Ward is truly focused on what will make the most realistic Call of Duty possible. All eyes are on the developer currently, as the Modern Warfare series is a highly-beloved one, and it will be interesting to see if the new game will live up to the hype.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release October 25 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
