A commenter on the Reddit thread stated that this glitch had also happened to them on the Shipment map and fixed itself automatically upon death. Another player posited that the problem seems to occur when a killstreak ends with the camera tilted; the view will simply remain crooked. For this player, the glitch happened consistently after using the Wilson killstreak, which calls in a small remote-operated support tank.

A bit of digging reveals that this glitch was documented as long as a month ago when a player posted a video on YouTube in which, upon dying and being blown backwards by the impact, the camera remained slightly tilted after respawning in Modern Warfare. Videos posted by other players show that they experienced the same glitch, with the screen tilted to varying degrees, after dying in similar circumstances such as in a crash, explosion, or collision that jolted the player’s body forcefully.

Players have uncovered a multitude of both humorous and frustrating glitches in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare since the game’s release. A murderous office chair was struck in the heat of a multiplayer match and actually hit back, vengefully and unexpectedly killing its assailant. The slide cancel glitch allows players to cancel their recovery state and pull their gun into the ready position much more quickly than the developers intended. That glitch has even been making the rounds in the competitive circuit and has prompted developer Infinity Ward to add it to their upcoming bug fixes. And a flaw in the Piccadilly multiplayer map lets unscrupulous players glitch themselves into a door where they essentially became invincible and can take out incoming enemies with no threat to themselves. This issue has become so bad that players on the opposing side simply quit the match because there’s no other remedy to it at this time.
