Modern Warfare has been a huge commercial success and it has largely lived up to the expectations fans of the franchise placed on the title. With a huge player base for the first-person shooter, many players like to personalize their appearance as much as possible to stand out from the pack. Modern Warfare players can achieve this by customizing calling cards in the game, and now it sounds like the feature is expanding.

Infinity Ward’s Art Director, Joel Emslie, had suggested that this element of the game would be built upon and it seems Mastery Calling Cards will be coming soon. The images fit with the style of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and it looks like they will include matching emblems when they are unlocked. Many will hope that the content can be earned through achievements and XP like they were in Modern Warfare 2 rather than being available through the DLC packs that feature in Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare allows for plenty of weapon variation and it will be interesting to see if future items encourage players to utilize their full arsenal. If these aesthetic updates can merge with the expanding content the game is delivering in terms of gameplay, then players may be entertained for longer. With that said, it seems that the game is currently doing enough to engage players as it has retained a huge player base through its additional game modes like Warzone.
Fans will have to wait and see when these new Mastery Calling Cards will become available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare but if they are in the game files they could be arriving soon.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
