While the new update brought players a lot of new events and exciting content to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, it brought fans some unexpected challenges as well. Issues like Call of Duty update’s large file size aren’t being changed, but other aspects of the new content that players have had problems with have reportedly been fixed. Infinity Ward released a patch on June 13 that corrected some parts of the game that have been bothering players.

Infinity Ward took to Twitter to announce the new patch to the games and what they would entail for players. Their Tweet detailed three main changes that the update is correcting. The first bug that Infinity Ward seems to have resolved relates to spawning on Call of Duty’s Scrapyard map. After being reintroduced into the game with the Season 4 update, players have been experiencing a glitch that spawns them outside of the map’s combat area when in this specific arena. Infinity Ward has taken the initiative to quickly shut this bug down as soon as it appeared.

The second bug that Infinity Ward set their sights on had to do with the Season 4 Battle Pass. Some players have been experiencing issues when they tried to use items that they earned or bought through the Battle Pass. While fans aren’t completely sure which items were causing this problem, the developers appear to have resolved it. The final update of note revolves around the in-match events that have been added to Warzone. While fans aren’t aware of issues around the three new randomized events that have been added to the Battle Royale — Jailbreak, Fire Sale, Supply Choppers — the frequency seems to have been modified with the June 13 patch.

With this quick update to Call of Duty, Infinity Ward is working to get Season 4 running with as few bumps as possible. Though the season may not be off to the smoothest start, the developer shows that it is quick to fix issues that fans are bringing to its attention.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
