What was originally regarded as a hidden feature has turned out to be a bug that found its way inside of the popular Warzone mode. In the most recent patch notes for July 9, Infinity Ward revealed that one of the many fixes was for the Counter UAV killstreak in Call of Duty: Warzone. According to the patch notes, the CUAV was never intended to be inside of Warzone and with this update, has been removed completely....

While Call of Duty: Vanguard made some controversial decisions with its multiplayer, such as letting all Operators be used on both teams and favoring fun over historical accuracy, one of its most divisive aspects was destruction. Players could shoot holes in walls to create unique sight lines, and gamers could be easily shot through certain surfaces. Destruction proved incredibly hectic on maps like Hotel Royal, with items constantly flying into the air as barriers were broken down....

While it’s certainly possible that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will be announced for an April 30 release, that does seem rather early, and it could just be a placeholder date for a soon-to-be announced game. Then again, if Activision does release Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on April 30, it would leave a six month gap between it and the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which could maximize its sales potential....

Apparently, Infinity Ward has plans to add the Aniyah Palace map to Ground War. This would make sense, as Aniyah Palace is the biggest standard multiplayer map in the game, to the point that it even has vehicles for players to drive. There was also a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Message of the Day recently that claimed Aniyah Palace was a “perfect fit” for Ground War, so it seems Infinity Ward has always intended for the map to be available in both modes....

In the clip, the enemy team calls in a UAV killstreak (technically a Personal Radar), so the player aims their rocket launcher at it to take it down. Just as the player fires their rocket, a care package is falling from the sky. The rocket hits the care package box, sending it flying at the UAV at an insane speed. The rocket and care package then collide with the UAV, destroying it instantly in a glorious explosion....

Many are aware that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will support cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Although as stated previously, there hasn’t been much to go on regarding the much-anticipated game’s multiplayer mode for which the series is known. In any case, players now have access to a couple of multiplayer screenshots as per Charlie Intel’s Call of Duty News Twitter account. Apparently, the images are in-game and accurately illustrate the game’s graphical capability given the new engine Infinity Ward is using....

After downloading the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 Reloaded update, fans may notice that the promised return of Gunfight Tournaments is nowhere to be found. In an interview during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer preview event, Multiplayer Map Design Director Jeffrey Smith and Animation Director Rigsby admitted that a combat mechanic known as the Buddy Boost was cut from the game after being active for an entire year. The move essentially required two people to cooperate, with one person kneeling down to push a second player up a higher wall. At that point, the boosted player would reach back down and pull the first player up the wall....

Shortly after the release of One in the Chamber, the developers are already applying a patch to adjust its features. Although this is a small patch it will still change a major part of the new game mode, bringing it closer to the original concept. The MW playlist update for May 5, 2020, comes with a myriad of modes. The 24/7 Shipment playlist probably leads the list, as players love duking it out on the small chaotic map. To kick off its Call of Duty: Vanguard marketing push, Activision released a new trailer establishing the game’s World War 2 setting and the tone it’s going for with its campaign and characters. The trailer is mostly cinematic, features some of the usual high-octane Call of Duty action, and concludes by confirming the release date. As previously leaked, the Call of Duty: Vanguard release date is November 5 across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X....

Call of Duty: Vanguard will have its first official test within a week, Activision Blizzard has now confirmed. The dates of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s alpha will be 10:00 AM PT on August 27 through 10:00 AM PT on August 29. The one major limitation is that the alpha is exclusive to players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Other platforms will have to wait for a later test. As a plus, the Call of Duty: Vanguard alpha won’t require a PlayStation Plus subscription....

Reddit user TheShadowfest took to r/CODZombies to announce the discovery that the health cap had been surreptitiously increased from 200 to 300. The post, simply titled “Health is now 300 lol,” features a screenshot of the UI in the game’s Zombies mode which shows that the player has indeed earned 100 more health points than was previously possible. Fortunately, players only need to complete the challenges from one of the two games, meaning that there is some freedom in how gamers complete the event. For those looking for the easiest path to the Adler skin unlock, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may be the better option. For those that only play Call of Duty: Warzone or want all the items from the Hunt for Adler event, though, they will need to complete some specific new contracts in three Verdansk locations....

The same is true for the recently released Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, with both titles allowing users to change the FOV to their preference. However, an FOV slider was missing from the original console versions of Warzone, as Activision didn’t add this feature due to its impact on the game’s performance on the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Still, it was added to Warzone 2, and it seemed like users responded positively to this change, despite it possibly giving some gamers an unfair advantage....

As of now, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have mostly seen shots of the map’s environment and heard about its design. While it is certainly nice seeing the beaches and caves of the map, and learning that the development of the map was defined by player feedback about Verdansk, many have wanted a closer looks at Caldera’s more iconic locations. The four new Calling Cards provide that look, showing off two locations that Raven Software has not yet revealed....
